Eurolux Non-Profit is an organization whose mission is to empower communities and improve lives. We do this by empowering, equipping, and helping children, youths, and seniors reach their full potential through creativity, relationships, and arts.
Why We Started Eurolux Non-Profit
Founded by Bunmi Awe and Murphy Atanda, Eurolux Non-Profit was established to address societal challenges faced by vulnerable populations in Ontario, Canada. Our aim is to provide engaging programs aimed at enhancing personal development, facilitating employment opportunities, and aiding in the settlement of immigrants within our community. We offer culturally appropriate and supportive programs to those in need, including but not limited to counseling, helpful settlement services, or direction through our many partners.
Our focus at Eurolux Non-Profit
At Eurolux Non-Profit, we primarily focus on serving the Black, African, and Caribbean communities of Toronto and Chatsworth, Ontario. We strive to bridge gaps and create opportunities for growth and prosperity within these communities.
Previous Projects
At Eurolux Non-Profit, we are passionate about alleviating hunger and supporting those in need. Through the generosity of donors, volunteers, and partner organizations, we organize regular feeding campaigns to provide meals for the less privileged and homeless individuals in our community.
We have previously successfully conducted feeding campaigns in downtown Toronto, thanks to the support of our donors and dedicated volunteers. These events are a testament to our commitment to serving those in need and fostering a sense of community.
Our Goals for this Non-Profit
Our goals include:
- Establishing and operating a community center for workshops, programs, and recreational activities.
- Providing immigrant services, including education, counseling, and employment support.
- Promoting organized sports and recreational activities for children and youth.
- Fostering goodwill and sportsmanship within the community.
